VETERINARY MEDICINE
Our veterinarians, technicians, and assistants are skilled at treating a range of pet health issues. We work in partnership with you to provide the best possible care for your pet, from surgery to pet dentistry and more.
GROOMING
Does your pet need to be freshened up? Although at this time we do not have a groomer to do haircuts we would be happy to freshen up your pet with a bath and pedicure. At this time we are only able to schedule baths for short haired dogs under 50 pounds. We’ll handle them with the love and attention they deserve from drop-off to pickup.
LABORATORY
We have state of the art laboratory equipment to enable us to get you results while you wait! Routine heartworm testing, screening of geriatric patients (blood & urine can indicate underlying disease), testing for common canine and feline diseases, intestinal parasites and diabetes are just a few.
BOARDING
Planning a vacation? Are the in-laws planning a visit? Is it a celebration weekend? Don’t know where the pets will go? Pointe South Animal Hospital has boarding facilities for dogs and cats.
PREVENTIVE CARE
Don’t wait until your pet gets sick to visit us. Remember to bring your pet yearly for an exam. Our veterinarians will evaluate the overall health of your pet and make any recommendations that may be necessary.
SURGERY
We offer routine surgeries such as canine and feline spay and neuter as well as more "non-routine" surgeries such as laceration repair, emergency surgeries of various kinds, tumor removal and more. Every patient has a designated assistant who stays with them prior to, during surgery and while in recovery. This surgical assistant gives each patient special attention which includes pre-op blood work, IV catheter placement, surgical prep, monitoring during surgery and a gentle touch while in recovery.
